As a chef, I think this is beautiful, and it looks as if culinary students may have presented this. However, as someone who is employed by school food service, this is not realistic. The food, yes, grilled tofu? Maybe, organic veggie soup, not at this present time. Water served in glass goblets, no way! I am truly appreciative of how many private, and independent schools are feeding their students, I just wish ( and $$$$ is the issue) that this could be done across our nation in every school.

Lunch #24 should have a disclaimer. How misleading and deceptive can you be. Don’t post catered functions from private schools…..”indepedent” to use your misleading terms. “Independent” programs are a very small percentage and do not acurately represent the true school lunch programs in public schools. Try representing the majority!

This is in Nor Cal – it's quite possible. It's also an Independant school, so that adds even more clout to the image. I can see this as a reality, sure! I've been to mass public and tiny private schools, and then some – this could have been at a few of them (private, small). Easily. And this isn't about public school lunches – it's about school lunches, period. If they serve this, they serve this. More power to them!
